Urgent Care Talent Solutions is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants interested in urgent care opportunities throughout the Wichita area and surrounding Kansas communities.

We partner directly with growing urgent care organizations to help providers identify positions that fit their clinical background, scheduling preferences, desired location, and professional goals.

Position Overview

In this urgent care APP role, you will assess and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses, minor injuries, and other non-emergency medical concerns in a busy outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities may include:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan
• Manage common urgent care illnesses and injuries
• Perform minor procedures, including suturing, splinting, wound care, and incision and drainage
• Order and interpret laboratory testing
• Perform an initial review of X-rays with radiologist over-read
• Develop appropriate treatment and follow-up plans
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, and ongoing care
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and operational leadership
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active state license or ability to obtain appropriate licensure
• Urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or other relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently within scope of practice
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• DOT certification is a plus for certain locations

Compensation

$67+ per hour, based on experience.

Compensation may vary based on the employer, location, schedule, and the provider's level of urgent care or emergency medicine experience.

Select opportunities may also offer additional earning potential through productivity incentives, extra shifts, or other compensation programs.
